PKillumin8 is a digital library of audio and video content. This policy ensures that our long-standing members continue to enjoy the access they’ve always had, while we streamline our offerings for new members moving forward.

Policy Summary

As of September 10, 2025, PKillumin8 implemented changes to our membership structure:

  • Plan Simplification: Certain billing cycles are no longer available for new subscriptions
  • Content Access Updates: Some premium and exclusive audio and video content now requires annual subscriptions for new members
  • Grandfather Protection: Existing members retain their current access rights and plan options

Who Qualifies for Grandfather Status?

You automatically qualify for Grandfather Status if you meet both of the following criteria:

1. Historical Membership Requirement

You had an active membership with PKillumin8 that started before September 10, 2025. This includes any of the following:

  • Standard memberships (any billing cycle)
  • Premium memberships (any billing cycle)
  • Elite memberships (any billing cycle)

2. Active Membership Requirement

You maintain an active, paid membership in good standing. This means:

  • Your subscription payments are current
  • Your account is not suspended or cancelled
  • You have at least one active membership plan

Important Clarifications

Grandfather Status is Permanent

  • Once you qualify, your Grandfather Status is permanently recorded in our system
  • You will never lose this designation, even if you cancel your membership

Benefits Require Active Membership

  • To use your Grandfather benefits, you must maintain an active paid subscription
  • If you cancel, you lose access to member content (like any cancelled member)
  • When you resubscribe, your Grandfather benefits automatically restore, regardless of how long you were inactive

All Original Members Qualify

  • The specific plan or billing cycle you originally chose does not matter
  • Whether you started with monthly, quarterly, 6-month, or yearly plans, you qualify
  • All membership tiers (Standard, Premium, or Elite) count toward qualification

Legacy Plans Explained

Quarterly and 6-Month plans are no longer available for new member purchases. However:

  • Existing members on these plans can continue renewing indefinitely
  • These plans retain full access rights under the Grandfather Policy
  • You may switch between any available plans at any time while your subscription is active
  • CRITICAL: If you cancel a legacy plan, you cannot resubscribe to it
  • After cancellation, you can only choose from current plans (Monthly or Yearly)
  • Your Grandfather Status remains permanent, allowing you to access restricted content with Monthly or Yearly plans

PKillumin8’s digital library of audio and video content is organized into three membership tiers, with two types of content access rules:

Content Type 1: General Access Content

Most of our audio and video content falls into this category and is available to all active members at the corresponding tier, regardless of billing cycle.

Standard General Content

Accessible to:

  • All Standard members (monthly or yearly)
  • All Premium members (any billing cycle)
  • All Elite members
  • Applies to both new and grandfathered members equally

Premium General Content

Accessible to:

  • All Premium members (monthly or yearly)
  • All Elite members
  • Applies to both new and grandfathered members equally

Content Type 2: Restricted Access Content

Some premium and exclusive audio and video content requires yearly subscriptions for new members, while grandfathered members can access it with any billing cycle.

Standard Restricted Content

Accessible to:

  • New members: Standard Yearly, Premium Yearly, or Elite
  • Grandfathered members: Any Standard plan (monthly, quarterly, 6-month, yearly)
  • Grandfathered members: Any Premium or Elite plan

Premium Restricted Content

Accessible to:

  • New members: Premium Yearly or Elite only
  • Grandfathered members: Any Premium plan (monthly, quarterly, 6-month, yearly)
  • All Elite members (regardless of grandfather status)

Elite Content

Accessible to:

  • Elite members only (3-month or yearly)
  • No restrictions based on billing cycle or grandfather status
  • Represents our highest tier of exclusive audio and video content

Benefits of Grandfather Status

1. Access to Legacy Billing Cycles

Continue using Quarterly and 6-Month billing options that are no longer available to new members (as long as you don’t cancel).

2. Unrestricted Content Access at Your Tier

Access all audio and video content at your membership tier—both general and restricted—regardless of your billing cycle.

What this means:

  • Standard Monthly grandfathered members can access content that new members need Standard Yearly to view
  • Premium Monthly grandfathered members can access content that new members need Premium Yearly to view
  • You’re never locked out of content at your tier level due to your billing frequency

3. Flexible Plan Management

Switch between any plan (including legacy options) at your current tier without losing your Grandfather Status or access rights while your subscription remains active.

4. Permanent Status Recognition

Your Grandfather Status is permanently recorded and automatically restored if you ever cancel and return (though you’ll lose access to legacy plan options upon cancellation).

Understanding Membership Tiers

Tier Hierarchy

Our membership tiers operate on a hierarchical system:

Elite (Highest Tier)

  • Includes access to Elite + Premium + Standard content
  • Access to all general and restricted content across all tiers

Premium (Middle Tier)

  • Includes access to Premium + Standard content
  • Access to all general and restricted content at Premium and Standard levels

Standard (Base Tier)

  • Includes access to Standard content only
  • Access to all general and restricted Standard content

Important Clarification

Grandfather Status does NOT change your tier level:

  • A grandfathered Standard member cannot access Premium content (still requires Premium or Elite membership)
  • A grandfathered Premium member cannot access Elite-exclusive content (still requires Elite membership)
  • Grandfather Status only removes billing cycle restrictions within your existing tier

Elite Membership: Special Considerations

Elite memberships represent our highest tier and include unique characteristics:

Elite Access Rules

All Elite members have equal access to all content, regardless of:

  • Join date (before or after September 10, 2025)
  • Billing cycle (3-month or yearly)
  • Grandfather status

Elite Content Restrictions

  • Elite-exclusive content is only accessible to Elite members
  • Standard and Premium members (including grandfathered members) cannot access Elite content
  • This is a tier restriction, not a billing cycle restriction

Elite Plans Available

  • Elite 3-Month: Available to all members (new and grandfathered)
  • Elite Yearly: Available to all members (new and grandfathered)

No Grandfather Advantage for Elite

Since Elite content has no billing cycle restrictions, Grandfather Status provides no additional benefits at the Elite tier. All Elite members enjoy identical access regardless of their join date.

Important Warning About Legacy Plans

Critical Information for Legacy Plan Holders

If you currently have a Quarterly or 6-Month plan, please read this carefully:

What Happens If You Cancel

  • You permanently lose access to that legacy plan
  • You cannot resubscribe to Quarterly or 6-Month plans after cancellation
  • Upon return, you can only choose Monthly or Yearly plans

What You Keep

  • Your Grandfather Status remains permanent
  • You can still access restricted content with Monthly plans (due to Grandfather Status)
  • All your tier-level access rights are preserved

Recommendation

If you value your legacy billing cycle (Quarterly or 6-Month), we strongly recommend keeping your subscription active. Once cancelled, you cannot get these plans back.

Alternative: If you need to reduce costs temporarily, consider:

  • Switching to a Monthly plan at your current tier (you can always switch back to your legacy plan while active)
  • Contacting support about payment arrangements

Maintaining Your Grandfather Status

Requirements

To maintain your Grandfather Status and actively use its benefits:

1. Keep Your Subscription Active

  • Ensure automatic payments are processing successfully
  • Maintain at least one active membership plan
  • Keep your billing information current

2. Membership Must Be Paid and Current

  • Past-due accounts do not have active access
  • Failed payments will suspend access until resolved
  • Suspended accounts cannot access member content

Plan Changes and Flexibility

Upgrading Your Tier

Grandfathered members can upgrade tiers at any time:

  • Standard → Premium: Gain access to Premium content
  • Standard → Elite: Gain access to all Premium and Elite content
  • Premium → Elite: Gain access to Elite content

Grandfather Status is retained when upgrading, meaning you can continue using monthly, quarterly, or 6-month billing at your new tier (as long as subscription remains active).

Important: No Downgrade Functionality

Our system does not support tier downgrades. Once you upgrade to a higher tier, you cannot move back to a lower tier. Please consider carefully before upgrading:

  • Cannot downgrade Premium → Standard
  • Cannot downgrade Elite → Premium or Standard
  • Your only option to change to a lower tier is to cancel and resubscribe at the desired tier
  • Warning: Cancelling means losing access to legacy plans (Quarterly/6-Month)

Changing Billing Cycles

Grandfathered members can change billing frequency at any time while their subscription is active and within their current tier:

Grandfathered Members (Active Subscription)

  • Monthly ↔ Quarterly ↔ 6-Month ↔ Yearly
  • Switch between any billing cycles at your current tier
  • Move to legacy plans (Quarterly/6-Month) only while subscription is active
  • Once cancelled, legacy plans cannot be reactivated

New Members

  • Can only switch between Monthly and Yearly options
  • Cannot access Quarterly or 6-Month plans

Grandfathered Members (After Cancellation)

  • Can choose Monthly or Yearly plans
  • Cannot resubscribe to Quarterly or 6-Month plans
